Peter & Francelle Somervell (our former pastor & his wife, 2006-2014) have felt for some time, a calling to go and serve our Lord in overseas mission work.  More recently, as they have sought God’s will, they have been drawn specifically to an opportunity in Morocco. 
After visiting Morocco earlier this year & gaining a clearer understanding of the great need in the local church there (a very small Christian presence in a strongly Muslim environment), they have acted on their calling.  Things have happened quite quickly since then and they are now booked and leaving for Morocco next week to begin this work!  Peter in particular has wanted an opportunity to share their vision & calling with us all at HBC, so we have arranged for them to share with us this coming Sunday evening at HBC.  He would love to encourage all who have an interest in missions & in particular in their new journey, to meet at 6pm in the upper lounge at HBC (Sunday 8th September). 
Peter plans to show us where they are going to, what they expect to be doing there as well as how he believes the Lord has lead them to this new service.  All are invited this Sunday evening.
